The good news for all of you who aren't mentioned in the book is this. The draft has now completed a quick and very professional prepublication review by both NSA and DHS. Both asked for changes and had plausible reasons for the requests, which I have honored.
So I'm free to start putting up excerpts, taking comments, factual corrections, and random abuse. I'll try to categorize the pieces so that you can find them and read them in more or less the right order, though I'll probably publish them in a different order from the postings.
Dear Mr. Baker,
Since I am a latecomer to your excellent blog, I may have missed an earlier post of the book proposal/pitch/summary that you may have given to a publisher. If one exists, would you post it (again)?

Jeff,
You didn't miss it. The only reference to a book before this was the subtitle to the blog. I haven't put the pitch/summary up on the site. But I am still talking to agents/publishers, so feel free to send them my way!
