Losing the Iranian street isn't good, but imagine how bad things have to get for an authoritarian Islamic regime to lose even Robert Fisk. The only thing that could turn Fisk around would be a hint that the U.S. is on his side. That would be too much for a man whom bin Laden once praised as "neutral" in the struggle between al Qaeda and the United States.
